Scalable ECS’s software-defined object storage can scale infinitely for both small and large files with strong global consistency. It delivers a globally distributed infrastructure under a single namespace with anywhere access to content.
Flexible ECS can be deployed as an appliance, a software-only solution or a hosted solution, which is an improved consumption choice called ECS Dedicated Cloud Service. It also supports multiple protocols and data streaming capabilities that provide the workload flexibility for customers to pick and choose the best solution.
Enterprise-ready ECS provides customers more control of their data assets with enterprise class object, file and HDFS storage in a secure and compliant system. It also supports features required for Federal workloads, future-proofing storage compliance capabilities.
